The West Lake in the city of Hangzhou in Zhejiang is one of the most famous tourist magnets of the People’s Republic of China . The lake is divided by three dams, which are named after famous poets, some who have served as officers in Hangzhou: Sudi ( 苏堤 / 苏堤 ) by Su Dongpo and Baidi ( 白堤 ) by Bai Juyi.

The West Lake is the Su-dam (named after the song -time poet Su Dongpo ) and the Bai Dike (named after the Tang poet Bai Juyi ) divided into three parts.
