Uxmal is a large pre-Columbian city of the Maya civilization in ruins in the state of Yucatan , Mexico . It is located 78km south of Merida. The name of the city’s pre-Columbian and it is assumed that in the Maya language meaning “Built Three Times”, although some scholars have disputed the Maya language meaning.
