Puerto Banús is one of the most spectacular and popular marinas of Spain. It is located right next to the fashionable suburban area of Nueva Andalucía and is just four miles from the city of Marbella. Built in 1970 by José Banús, this small coastal town has managed to attract the attention of the elite from all over the world. It is no surprise, that about 5 million people visit Puerto Banús every year to indulge themselves, soak the sun and sail the sea.

Geography and climate

This village-style port is situated in the Costa del Sol region of southern Spain. It lies 40 miles southwest of Malaga and 486 miles south of Madrid.
