Riomaggiore is an Italian village with 1693 inhabitants (as of 31 December 2010) in the province of La Spezia and the easternmost of the five villages of the Cinque Terre. The municipality includes the fractions Manarola, and Volastra Groppo. The neighboring communities of La Spezia, Riccò del Golfo di Spezia and Vernazza.

The station of Riomaggiore on the railway line Genoa – La Spezia is located on the northwestern outskirts largely in the tunnel, only about two car lengths are in the open air. The village is connected by a railway tunnel in a footpath running. With boats will take passengers to the neighboring villages. The near Manarola also runs the Via dell’Amore, a cut into the cliff walk with scenic views. From the street of La Spezia – Manarola a spur road leads to the upper edge.
