Lamai Beach
Koh Samui’s second largest beach resort is the Lamai Beach. Compared to Chaweng Beach, Lamai Beach offers a slightly more fast paced atmosphere. It has plenty of accommodation options for tourists of all budget ranges.

Finding a place to eat is not going to be a problem, as there are dozens of restaurants and cafes that serve seafood, Thai food, and other types of cuisines.

Big Buddha Beach
On the north coast of Koh Samui is another beautiful Thai beach known as the Big Buddha Beach. It is called such because of the gigantic golden Buddha statue erected on the Eastern portion of the beach.

There are many bars, shops, and restaurants on Big Buddha Beach that keep the energy going all throughout the day. Visitors come here not only to have fun under the sun but also to familiarize themselves with the local culture and history.
