Have you ever heard people talking about their travel plans or a recent vacation that they have been on and felt an urgent need to pack and so somewhere?
I have felt like that all my life.
The good news is that studies reveal that travelling is not just good for experience but is also an important building block for character development of an individual. Traveling is one of the best ways to come out of your comfort zone and do things that you have never done or thought that you would ever do.
You overcome the cultural sensitivity:
Traveling is not something that can be taught in a classroom or by a tutor. It is something that you will need to do it for yourself to understand what magic it can do for you. For instance, traveling can help you understand the various cultures of the world.
You will begin to understand the heterogeneity in humankind. With it you will appreciate that every kind of people have their own norms and belief system which they think is the right one. Thus travelling can help you overcome the cultural shock that you may get when you move out of your familiar zone.
And that is just not all!
Brace yourself for a great time experiencing various reliefs, different climates, a different language, different music, a new cuisine et al. it is going to blow your mind!
Traveling alone versus traveling with company:
This is something that only you can decide. However, it is right if I assure you that whether you travel solo or with a travel companion, the same place is going to throw up two different experiences at you.
Travel at least once a year:
My sincere advice to everyone I know is that even if work pressure is pulling you down and you know that you cannot escape the grind lest you come back to a desk full of pending work; still take time to vacation once a year – even if it is somewhere nearby.
Don’t go the beaten path:
For a change, do not visit the touristy spots. Instead go to the path that are less travelled.it is a given that you will love this kind of a getaway from the hustle bustle of urban life and far away from the concrete jungle that we seem to have been trapped in.
People who travel frequently are bound to become successful:
When you travel, you learn to take life headlong, negotiating and overcoming various challenges that come your way. This makes you empathic as well as realistic to how you must live your life. In the end, if there is something I want to say, then it is “Go”!!
