Cairns is a town in northern Queensland , Australia . The city was at its inception by the then Governor of Queensland, William Wellington Cairns , in 1876 originally as an export port for gold and other mineral resources in the mines west of the city was won. On the beach promenade, which has been modernized with much effort, bordered by low tide to a hundred meters long mud level at which small mangroves grow. However, a few miles further north, some of the most beautiful beaches of Queensland to find (such as Trinity Beach). The botanical garden “The Flecker Botanical Gardens” is located 4 miles from the center. In this tropical garden, rare plants and flowers are: Titan Arum , orchids and pitcher plants among others.
