Bunbury is a city in the Australian state of Western Australia (Western Australia).Bunbury is the second largest city in Western Australia, is the center of the outer south-west of Australia, the South West region . It lies about 180 km south of Perth and 370 kilometers west of Albany near the mouth of the Collie River at Geographe Bay .

The town was founded in 1829 and 1979 became a town. The population is about 54 500 inhabitants. The climate is more moderate than that of Perth. Bunbury is on the railway line South Western Railway , on the Australind connected wrong with Perth. The Edith Cowan University (ECU), headquartered in Perth, has established the Bunbury “Bunbury campus.”The City of Bunbury has been twinned with Setagaya , a suburb of Tokyo (since 10 November 1992).
